How is the Chester County Solid Waste Authority (CCSWA) planning to generate revenue and clean energy from the underutilized face of their mechanically stabilized earth berm (MSE) berm? By using ARM Group’s new and improved solar berm design for their new expansion area.

Developed on behalf of CCSWA, this patented new design resulted in an estimated 50% cost reduction and allows the solar array to be installed after the MSE berm is constructed thereby streamlining the installation and allowing for greater schedule flexibility.
