Driven to Make a Difference

Meet Lauren Parker, G.I.T., Project Geologist II!

When Lauren joined ARM Group’s Environmental team five years ago, she was looking for more than just a job. As a recent graduate with both a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Geology from the University of Alabama, Lauren wanted a career that blended hands-on fieldwork with analytical problem-solving—that’s exactly what she found at ARM Group.

“I wanted a career in an environmental field that allowed me to work both outside and inside the office. Every day, I feel proud knowing that my work contributes to protecting the environment and helping clients make environmentally conscious decisions.”

Bringing Environmental Solutions to Life

As a Project Geologist II, Lauren collects groundwater samples, oversees well installations, and analyzes site conditions. Her work helps ensure projects are safe, sustainable, and compliant with industry regulations.

One of Lauren’s most notable projects is her work at Tradepoint Atlantic, North America’s largest brownfield redevelopment site. Performing environmental site investigations and conducting groundwater events are critical to the cleanup process. her work includes monitoring well installation oversight, groundwater sampling, soil and vapor characterization, and detailed data analysis and reporting, all of which help shape remediation strategies and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

Working closely with the Maryland Department of the Environment and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, Lauren helps navigate complex environmental regulations, contributing to the successful transformation of the site. Her expertise and desire to help make a difference has supported the redevelopment of Tradepoint Atlantic into a thriving logistics hub, now home to major companies such as Under Armour, Amazon, FedEx, BMW, The Home Depot, and Floor & Decor.

Making an Impact at ARM

Lauren makes a real difference every day by helping clients understand environmental risks and implement sustainable solutions. She’s part of a team that shapes the future of land use and development.

“I wanted a job that challenged me and allowed me to contribute in a tangible way. At ARM, I get to do just that.”
