ARM is extremely pleased to be sponsoring the 19th annual Coaches vs. Cancer (CVC) Golf Tournament, hosted by the CVC-Penn State and the American Cancer Society (ACS), on May 29th. For the past several years, ARM employees and business partners have golfed in this annual tournament in support of the local fight against cancer. Last year, as sponsors, golfers, donors and volunteers, ARM helped the organization raise $125, 000!
ARM will be joining the fight again this year, along with Penn State coaches and players, Big Ten network personalities, Nittany Lion greats and other notable sports figures. The golf tournament proceeds will provide direct aid to individuals and families fighting cancer across the Centre region.
The two-day event begins Thursday night with a Sponsor / Captain reception at Medlar Field at Lubrano Park, featuring a silent auction, which will raise additional funding. On Friday, we will be swinging our clubs in support of the annual cancer fight at the Penn State Blue and White Golf Courses. An awards dinner at Beaver Stadium will cap off the tournament events.
CVC-Penn State’s year-round fundraising efforts assist in providing life-saving patient services to cancer victims in State College and other Central Pennsylvania areas including the ACS Hope Lodge located in Hershey. Please visit the Coaches vs. Cancer webpage to find out how you can join ARM in supporting the fight against cancer.
