Wow - It is National Pollinator Week and ARM Group’s Roger Knittle noticed a bee swarm hitching a ride on our truck! Swarms are always a good indication of a healthy bee population. Roger called a beekeeper who carefully added the swarm into a bee box.
If you see a bee swarm, please do not harm them as they are most likely honeybees! Honeybees are almost always docile and they don't intend to sting, they are simply creating a swarm to protect their queen bee and find a new home. However, it is still best not to get close and interact with them. The best thing to do is contact a local beekeeper or local Beekeepers Association because most of them have contact information for qualified beekeepers to care for a swarm.
Help ARM Group celebrate pollinators this week by raising awareness and promoting conservation efforts!
