ARM Biologist Approved by Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission as a Timber Rattlesnake Monitor

Scott Martin, one of ARM’s Biologists, has been approved by the Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission as a Timber Rattlesnake Monitor. Scott is permitted to handle timber rattlesnakes under the PFBC’s Type III Scientific Collecting Permit. On-site monitoring requirements often involve a monitor searching and clearing the project area prior to work and during work to ensure the safety of workers and conservation of the species as well as reporting back to the PFBC information such as observations, snake physical and biological characteristics, habitat data and location information. ARM is committed to being responsive to timber rattlesnake monitoring needs and contributing to a successful project outcome. Please contact Scott at 717-439-2775 or Michelle Cohen at 717-982-0439, if your project requires a timber rattlesnake monitor to satisfy permit requirements.
