Samson Wellfield Closure & Infrastructure Restoration

Cameron County, PA

Samson Exploration, LLC acquired, developed, and produced a Marcellus natural gas wellfield in Cameron County, Pennsylvania. The leasehold was comprised of approximately 15,000 acres that included six well pads, five freshwater impoundments, one meter pad, and approximately 15 miles of natural gas and freshwater pipeline right-of-way. The project area was contained within the Susquehanna River Basin Commission jurisdiction, drains to various special protection watersheds (EV, HQ, natural reproduction trout waters), and encompasses timber rattlesnake habitat. ARM’s engineers and dedicated field staff played an integral part in the successful wellfield closure and infrastructure restoration.
