ARM completed the electrical, civil and structural engineering design for a utility-scale 2.4MWdc ground-mount solar electric system in Newbury, MA for Borrego Solar. The project consisted of three adjacent sites that were constructed on undeveloped grassy fields and forestland located just off of U.S. Route 1. ARM’s engineers designed the site to minimize impacts to coastal wetlands that were mapped throughout the area. Due to the risk of frost heave, ARM's geotechnical engineers specified a racking system utilizing ground screws was selected to support the solar modules.
