Eastern Sanitary Landfill

The Eastern Sanitary Landfill is an active solid waste management facility owned and operated by the Baltimore County Bureau of Solid Waste Management (BCBSWM). The BCBSWM initiated construction of Phase X, a lined 15-acre disposal cell, in July 2013.  ARM was awarded an open-end agreement to provide consulting engineering services for the Eastern Sanitary Landfill (ESL), located in White Marsh, MD. The comprehensive support services provided for the County include: expansion design, leachate management, landfill gas control and remediation systems, permitting, stormwater management, groundwater and landfill gas reporting, and regulatory compliance.
