Annapolis Solar Park Officially Open
The Annapolis Solar Park has officially opened with a ribbon cutting ceremony! ARM was hired by the project contractor, EDF, as the geotechnical and civil engineer of record to complete the site design and permitting for this successful and challenging project. This project will help Maryland comply with the state requirement of obtaining 25 percent of their power from renewable sources by the year 2020. The park, which was built on a closed landfill in Annapolis, Maryland, is the largest solar park constructed on a landfill cap in North America and produces about 24GWh of power annually.
