Field Technician

Field Technician – Position will support a wide range of projects related to geotechnical, construction administration, water resources, stormwater management, erosion and sediment control, and the oil and gas industry. Ideal candidate will have 1 to 5 years of experience, and the desire and ability to travel and support a wide range of engineering and environmental projects throughout Pennsylvania, Ohio, West Virginia, and the mid-Atlantic area.  Qualified candidates must have proficient verbal and written communication skills, excellent computer skills, strong work ethic, and the ability to work as a team player.  Projects will involve field inspections of soils, concrete, geosynthetics, pavement systems and erosion and sediment controls, as well as monitoring well installation, groundwater and soil sampling, infiltration testing, and other environmental field support tasks. Past construction inspection and/or field testing experience (including nuclear density gauge, ACI certification, or GRI/GSI geosynthetics installation experience) is a plus.  A BS degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering, Geology, or related earth-sciences program is also a plus.  A valid driver’s license is required.
