Geotechnical Engineer 8+ Years

Geotechnical Engineering Professional 8+ Years – Candidate must have a BS or MS in civil engineering with 8 + years of experience with emphasis in geotechnical engineering.  A P.E. license in Pennsylvania is required with ability to gain reciprocity in bordering states.  Position will support a wide range of projects requiring broad knowledge and experience in geotechnical engineering, including: shallow foundations; deep foundations; retaining structures; shoring; karst hazards; mechanically stabilized earth (MSE) berms/walls; slope stability; ground improvement techniques; geotechnical support of shale gas projects and solid waste projects; and others. Experience with dam inspections, monitoring, rehab, and permitting is also desired.

Qualified candidates must demonstrate proficient verbal and written communication skills, excellent computer skills, strong work ethic, adaptability, and teamwork skills. The successful candidate will possess a positive attitude, an “ownership mentality”, and establish client relationships, define client needs, develop winning strategies, prepare proposals and generate sales in the Mid-Atlantic region, as well as promote other ARM services.
