Stormwater Engineer

Seeking a self-motivated mid-level civil/stormwater engineer.  Candidate should have 3 to 5 years of experience in stormwater management, erosion & sedimentation control, stream restoration, and MS4 permitting.  Experience in supporting solid waste management facility design, permitting, and operations support; and construction oversight and certification is a plus, as is experience with renewable energy projects. The successful candidate will possess a positive attitude, an “ownership mentality”, strong organization and communication skills, and the desire to learn.  Knowledge and application of PA and MD stormwater and environmental regulations is highly desired.

Candidate must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering and EIT certification.  An MS degree is a plus.

Staff Geologist – 0-5 Years

Staff Geologist – Qualified candidates should have a minimum of a BS degree in Geology (MS preferred). Successful candidates must have proficient verbal and written communication skills, excellent analytical problem-solving capabilities, excellent computer skills, strong work ethic, and the ability to work both independently and with a team.  Candidate must be comfortable with working in the field and possess strong documentation and report writing skills. Working knowledge of ArcGIS, Microsoft Access, or AutoCAD a plus. Some travel and overnight stay will be required.

Construction Quality Assurance (CQA)/Civil Engineering Technician

Construction Quality Assurance (CQA)/Civil Engineering Technician – Position will involve monitoring and management of a wide range of projects related to solid waste facility construction (landfill liner systems, closure, pipelines, leachate and landfill gas collection and conveyance systems, stormwater, etc.), as well as field support and construction administration of geotechnical and environmental engineering projects, stormwater management, erosion and sediment control, and construction projects within the oil and gas industry.  Ideal candidate will have more than 5 years of experience and the desire and ability to travel and support a wide range of engineering and environmental projects throughout Pennsylvania, Maryland, and the mid-Atlantic area.  Qualified candidates must have proficient verbal and written communication skills, excellent computer skills, strong work ethic, and the ability to work as a team player, including the mentoring and training of field personnel.

Projects will involve field inspections and quality assurance/documentation of soils, geosynthetics, pipe and mechanical controls, erosion and sediment controls, concrete and pavement.  Past landfill and geosynthetics construction inspection and field testing experience (including nuclear density gauge) is required.  ACI certification, GRI/GSI geosynthetics installation training, and radiation safety experience are a plus.  A BS degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering, Geology, or related earth-sciences program is also a plus.
