ARM Welcomes New Senior Geotechnical Engineering Manager, Robert M. Sabanas, P.E.!

Bob is a professional engineer joining the ARM Group with over 28 years of experience specializing in geotechnical analyses and site investigations, commercial building construction and IBC Special Inspections, site development and geo-environmental engineering.  Areas of expertise include ground improvement techniques, sinkhole remediation, grouting, soil-geosynthetic systems.

In his tenure, Bob has worked in numerous capacities on several project types throughout Pennsylvania, Delaware, New Jersey and Maryland. Some notable projects Bob has worked on include:

  • AI duPont Hospital Expansion, Pavilion and Parking Garage Expansion, Wilmington, DE
  • Big-Box Retail and Commercial Developments- Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware

He also maintains technical experience in performing and supervising laboratory testing of soils, construction materials, concrete, as well as geosynthetic materials. Robert has also overseen the laboratory operations for accredited soils, concrete, and geosynthetic laboratory testing facilities. He is a professional member of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) and past Chair of the ASCE/Delaware Valley Geo-Institute.
