Civil Engineer 2+ Years

Civil/Environmental/Geotechnical Engineer - Qualified candidates must demonstrate proficient verbal and written communication skills, excellent computer skills, strong work ethic, adaptability, and teamwork skills.  Candidate must have a BS or MS in civil engineering with 2+ years of experience and E.I.T. certification.  Position will support a wide range of projects with tasks involving water resources, stormwater management, erosion and sediment control planning, geotechnical investigations/analyses, construction-phase monitoring and administration, and permitting related to the oil and gas and solid waste industries.  Candidates with Marcellus/Utica Shale experience will be viewed favorably.

Project Manager/Senior Engineer

Civil/Environmental/Geotechnical Engineering Professional – Qualified candidates must demonstrate proficient verbal and written communication skills, excellent computer skills, strong work ethic, adaptability and teamwork skills.  Licensure as a Pennsylvania Professional Engineer (PE) required. Candidate must have a BS or MS in civil or environmental or geotechnical engineering with at least 8 years of experience with a minimum of 2 years of experience in the oil and gas industry. Position will support a wide range of projects related to water resources, stormwater management, erosion and sediment control planning, geotechnical, construction administration, and permitting in support of the upstream and midstream activities in the oil and gas industry.

Professional Land Surveyor (PLS)

Professional Land Surveyor -Ideal candidate will have 8 or more years of experience in surveying for civil engineering projects. Qualified candidates must have proficient verbal and written communication skills, excellent computer skills, strong work ethic, and the ability to work as a team player. Candidate must be able to provide field surveying and office support for surveying activities.  Position will be located in our Pittsburgh (Canonsburg office) and coordinate with survey personnel within each office of the company.  Prepare drawings with various software, including Autodesk products such as AutoCAD (various releases), and Civil 3D, etc.  Familiar with Trimble GPS software and technology. Coordinate with our headquarters, and create/follow standardized procedures and protocols.  Assist engineers/managers as an engineering Designer, taking concepts and objectives, and developing the final detailed design or other type of drawing, based upon the initial instruction and overall project objectives. Work effectively and cooperatively with all personnel and complete work assignments on time and with minimal errors.  Be responsible for survey personnel and equipment including but not limited to budgets, utilization, equipment maintenance, calibrations, etc. for the survey operations.  Carry out survey assignments for various ARM business units (e.g., Energy, Oil & Gas, Environmental, Waste Management, etc.) that may be needed from time to time. 

 Must have computer literacy in Microsoft Word and Excel. Position should be accustomed to completing work with limited supervision and be comfortable working in a multi-disciplinary team environment. An Associate Degree in Surveying or Engineering and a licensed PA PLS is required and a WV PLS is a plus.  A valid driver’s license is required.
